Fashion has always been my thing. Not in a “I think I’m the most stylish person ever” way… I just genuinely love clothes. I love getting dressed, I love details, I love finding pieces that make everyday life feel a little more interesting.

Honestly, clothes have given me a lot of confidence over the years. Sometimes an outfit can change your whole mood, and I think that’s kind of special. Do I maybe romanticize clothes a little too much? Probably. But I’m okay with that.

The Closet of my Haus is basically the inside of my brain. A running collection of things I love, things I want, things I’m inspired by, and little moments of personal style that make life feel fun. Some things are bought, some are saved in tabs for three years, and some will probably never leave the Pinterest board. And that’s okay too.

You’ll find outfit ideas, moodboards, hair and nail inspiration, pieces I’m currently obsessed with, and probably a lot of oversized jackets.

This is not a guide on how to be fashionable. It’s just me sharing the things that make me feel the most like myself.

Welcome to my Closet.

With the change of the season, there is always a reason to elevate your wardrobe a little. I am not one to chase every trend or buy everything the fashion forecasters say I should, but I know what I like, and I am going to buy it.

Fall might just be my favorite season. From the colors to my birthday, from fall festivals to Thanksgiving, from pumpkin spice to peach cobbler, the opportunities for style and joy are endless.

Lately, my vibe is casual chic. I love practicality, things I can throw on while still looking effortlessly cute.

The first things on my fall list are knee-high boots. I love them whether paired with leather, sheer tights, and a skirt, or rubber Hunter boots with shorts and an oversized sweater. I am, quite literally, obsessed and will be adding at least one pair to my closet soon.

Another love is suede. Last year, I had a cropped suede jacket, and this fall, I am seriously considering a full-length version just for kicks and giggles.

One thing that is going to eat me up this season, though, is my work wardrobe. She is always a work in progress, but we will get there one day. Until then, I will sip my pumpkin spice latte and daydream about the perfect boots.

xoxo Sake
